The Silver Service is a winter contract for only 6 months Dec-May), that covers all services listed under Start Up & Close Down. We then hand the keys back in May and you are on your own for the Summer. The cost is calculated on the size of the property.

Start Up & Winter Season: November-May

• Turn on radiators to low
• Inspection of property and open up for your first arrival 
• Clean radiator elements
• Clean filters in domestic machines
• Clean VMC (air circulation system) vents
• Gradually turn up heating
• Turn on water & gas and check all services are operational
• Check gas bottles and replace if necessary (at extra cost)
• Check power supplies and reactivate with EDF if necessary
• Check all fuses
• Check all lights are working
• Check telephone lines & meters and reactivate with France Telecom if necessary
• Check operation of all appliances
• Check operation of toilet systems
• Clean shower hoses and all drains
• Check wall fittings for fastness, including curtains
• Check operation of saunas & jacuzzis
• Certification of fire extinguishers (provide at extra cost if not already part of inventory)
• Check all keys are operational (ski lockers, doors and cupboards)
• Copy keys if required (at extra cost)
• Check all mattress protectors are back on beds following summer close-down
• Attend co-proprietor meetings and provide written documentation following meeting
